FEAR Obama Pelosi and Reid Oh My!

Yes there is that four letter F word. What do I fear an Obama, Pelosi, Reid government!
Everyone out there should be afraid of this trio of Liberal views. The United States of America will change. So maybe this is the change they are talking about. Abortion will no longer be something that is an issue because it will be common place. Gay Marriage big deal another common occurrence. Government robbing the corporations and giving to the nonworker again natural. You see there will be a lot more unemployed because corporations that are going to be taxed to death will move overseas to areas that are more business friendly. Those that stay will have to raise their prices to the point that they are run out of business by the overseas companies. Unemployment will be at record levels because they only business left in America will be family run companies.

Good news though we will have universal health care that will cause elderly genocide so the social security budget will finally be able to hold it's own because there will be very few to survive the universal health care that they will have that doesn't work in other countries.

So when you are going to the polls remember do we really want a Obama, Pelosi, Reid package deal?

You need to make some posters based off this post to reflect our tradition of propaganda like "Loose lips sink ships!", "When you ride alone you ride with Hitler!", and "For your country's sake today - For your own sake tomorrow. Enlist."

Or maybe just a series of sandwich boards that say "Doom" and "The End if Nigh".

To be honest, I'm being snarky and flippant because I your post sounds so extreme and sensational. Genocide? Common-place abortions?. Record unemployment?

Obama is a social reformer and he's not the first reformer our country has seen.

Seriously. Thank you bobisimo.

RepublicansRock is concerned about gay marriage and "elderly genocide" (it's called "geronticide", RepublicansRock -- "genocide" is defined as the killing of an ethnic/political/racial group), while the economy continues to tank, civil rights continue to erode, and our reputation as a world leader remains tarnished.

Fear of the Liberal Bogeyman isn't selling your candidate this election, RepublicansRock. It worked in 2004 and people have since watched the country decline under this Republican commander-in-chief. Good luck selling the culture wars this time around to people truly worried about their bank accounts and social safety nets.

The approval rate of congress is lower than dirt and you are not concerned what will happen when there are no checks and balances in place?

These people will be in charge of appointing supreme court justices. Making laws that will "balance" talk radio, and that is probably the least of the problems.

As far as the economy we all know that this can be traced back to the democrats and their lack of wanting to regulate an industry that should have been regulated years ago.

Genocide: the destruction of a particular group.

Look up information on other countries that have socialized medicine. Why do you think people travel here for medical attention?

It worked in 2004 until 2006 when a democrat congress took over I believe gas was 2.19 and the dow was 14,000! Also when was the last time we were attacked. Love or hate Bush he has kept us safe.

Try using a news source besides talk radio, RepublicansRock.

Who cares about "balancing talk radio"? There are far more important issues that the president and Congress will have to deal with. Please refer me to any Obama speech or news release where he's outlined his plan on "talk radio".

Re Democrats not wanting to "regulate an industry": I'm so glad to hear you're for regulation, RepublicansRock. When Congress and President Obama start requiring more regulations of out-of-control industries I'll be looking to read your unabashed support for it!

Oh, and fyi, here's a correct dictionary definition for genocide.

You're telling me to look up health care practices from other countries but I'll one up you.

I'm not concerned about health care because I have *seen*, first-hand, a single-payer system work while living in Canada for years. There weren't a lot of Canadians that I knew wishing that they could have the US system. Most were worrying that if they took a trip to the US something would go wrong with their health and they'd be screwed.

I'm not concerned about the economy because Obama has surrounded himself with economists and has a good mind for it himself. I'm looking more at him and less at his party. When you poll 500 economists, as Scott Adams (Dilbert) did, from across the spectrum, and they generally agree that Obama is better for the economy - that reduces my worry.

I'm not worried about commonplace abortions because that's ridiculous. No one likes abortion. It's not pro-life vs. pro-death. It's pro-life vs. pro-choice. The pro-choice group isn't in love with killing. They want women to have a safe place to go for counseling. And they want women to have a safe place to go to have those procedures.

There's no way to say whether we're safer under Bush or not. We don't have a time machine to see how Gore and/or Kerry would have fared.

Businesses, such as the health insurance companies and banks have had plenty of time to innovate to meet the needs of the market they service. In the example of heath insurance companies, the reward for innovation would have been 45 million additional customers, all the people without health insurance now.
They failed.
They failed to innovate, and market is asking their government, who is an advocate, to get involved.
Republicans- twist is any way you want but this is Business 101.
I will leave out a dissertation on the impact of “GREED” (but there is a lesson in this for all businesses) and just say:
ANY BUSINESS IN A CAPITALIST SOCIETY THAT CANNOT MEET THE NEEDS OF ITS MARKET WILL DECLINE AND WILL BE REPLACED BY A DIFFERENT MODEL.
I question your support of business models like health insurance that don’t work. Why are you so afraid of changing the status quo?
Accept the challenge. THE MARKET HAS SPOKEN. Why not look at this as an opportunity to bring a better model to a market that is hungry for change? That’s the way a real capitalist would think……
