IN 2009 and beyond we need elected officials willing to re-organize government, to save money, to eliminate waste and fraud, and to generally shake up the way things are done ... businesses are being shaken and reorganized to their cores, why can't government get off status quo. Status quo sure isn't working:

I've decided to only vote for two candidates for the council this election, and Burge is certainly one of them. Based on his current record, he's one of a few people on the council who really seems to have a vision on where he would like to see the county moving. I don't agree with some of his statements, but I'm in agreement with most.
I didn't realize part of his plan is to replace elected officials with *gasp* appointed people with experience in that field! Seems like a no-brainer in my mind...
