Some articles I'm reading today:

Hugo Chavez joins US Media in bashing Sarah Palin - are we actually going to let Iran, Syria, Hamas, Libya and Hugo Chavez tell us who to elect? If they want Obama, I want him even less.

Democratic Leaders call for 25% cut in Military Spending and nationalizing 401K's - they're starting to talk a little early. If they were smart they'd keep the heavy socialist stuff quiet until after the election, what if people are paying attention and realize they've been duped?

Lawsuit against Obama claiming he's not a citizen tossed from state court - will Democrat attorney who brought the suit go to Supreme Court for a ruling prior to election, or wait until after and get a ruling that could affect electoral college dramatically?

Is Obama lying about relationships with terrorists and underground groups? - In my opinion he's got some bad friends. This happens a lot to young college punks who lean left and get involved in stupid ideas like Marxism and Revolution.

Gallup, Zogby and Rasmussen all show national polls widening today to Obama ... state polls show about the same as last week with McCain gaining in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, but so far not enough to look like enough for 270 electoral votes. Early voting is strong, and most pundits think this is an indicator for Obama's chances.

Although I am not prepared to say it's over for McCain, I am a political student enough to acknowledge that Republicans will have to come out in numbers never seen before on election day to turn the tide, and that most Republicans seem bored, tired, lazy, unorganized, and prepared to cede control of the country to socialism. Some like the idea because they think after two years everyone will see the error of their ways. Others, frankly are just swamped with a government induced recession (with some media help) and can't see straight. The last group, and the one that makes me the most sick are the lazy ones ... those who will have lots of opinions in February of next year if Obama and Reid and Pelosi get total control ... they'll complain about taxes and socialism and gutting our military ... but won't do anything next week when it matters.

Millions of young Americans have donated $100 bucks to Obama or Ron Paul. Have you?
Millions of Americans are excited about change and willing to elect "anyone" to get past the Bush years, have you even thought about the election?
Hundreds of thousands of Americans are expressing themselves online, in groups, grass roots style debates that epitomize our nation and freedom of speech ... are you one of the people that was too busy or disconnected to engage ... or worse too bull headed to talk to someone you disagreed with?

My case is close to being rested, I'll step off the stool for now ...
