Chesterton Tribune writer, Vicki Urbanik, announced yesterday she will seek the office of Porter County Auditor as a Democrat, attempting to replace current Auditor James Kopp.
Kopp has not announced his intentions yet for the politically charged seat, bereft with calls for replacement due to property tax bills being almost a year behind.
Republicans have not announced anyone as of yet.
