Thanks in advance - primary week craziness

The next 20 days will be our busiest here on this site for many months to come. Primaries get everyone pretty excited, and the US Senate primary is probably more exciting than normal because of the possible pick up for Republicans.

Thanks for reading, commenting, voting in polls, subscribing to our RSS, sharing on Facebook or other social networks. As I often say, if you are a NW Indiana political animal and want to write here on this site, drop me an email (Editor Email) Remember that I don't censor, but keep language such that my teenagers can read the site every morning with me.

Lastly, I had some complaints a few months ago about advertising on the site. We do use google ads, which self propagate ads which are supposed to be related to our site content ... and we have a few companies including my own that sponsor the site with ads. We aren't a big advertising platform like ValpoLife or PortageLife, but it has been fun to hear that advertisers are getting some business from the site. On a typical day we'll have 300 unique readers, who will page through three or four posts each. In the next couple weeks that should swell to about 1,200 readers a day. Although nothing like the above mentioned sites for traffic, our readers do tend to be highly educated or learning oriented with regards to our chosen topic here - politics.
