The political season has already begun. Ugly on steroids?

We will find that this administration in Washington will place the race card and the class card and do anything they can to take the focus off of the actual issues.   The Barack Obama Administration is a collection of Elitist, Socialist and Communist Statists whose policies have done more harm to the American economy than any one previous administration you can name.   Barack Obama makes Jimmy Carter look good!  Therefore the personal attacks will be fast and furious...witness the experience of Lawrence Rapchack...in his own words:

Hi, everyone---

IN case you didn't see it, here's a letter that appeared in the TIMES
yesterday, Tuesday, August 23rd, from Tom Markovitch of Whiting.

(For some reason, it wasn't posted on the TImes' website, so I'm
sending a text/draft version).

If possible, please bring this letter to the attention of people you know
who are interested in the fate of our country. As we progress into the
fall, the strategy of the Left will be to:

a.) continue to attack the Tea Party (note that this letter makes clear
that the Tea Party IS common-sense, hard-working, traditional
Americans, like most of us----as opposed to the haters and extremists
as we are portrayed)

b.) claim that Obama's approach to our debt is "reasonable" and
"balanced" (the two words that he is already using) and that the
House Republicans are the radicals who are blocking a solution to
our debt crisis.

Be aware that one of the chief tactics of Obama's community-organizer
hero Saul Alinsky is to portray yourself as a MODERATE-- then attack
your traditionalist opponents as the radicals!

Yeah, maybe Obama IS being reasonable and balanced----but reasonable,
balanced Marxism is still Marxism, and has no place in American government.

THE TIMES - AUGUST 23, 2011

As the attacks against the Tea Party continue, one fact becomes
alarmingly clear: embracing Tea Party principles is the only chance

we have of holding onto our cherished Constitutional form of

government. The Democratic party is entirely controlled by the

extreme Left, headed by Obama and friends; the sensible moderate

Democrats don't dare break ranks and vote against them.

Meanwhile, many Republicans are still operating as in the old days

when compromise was possible. But how do you compromise with

today's Democratic party, which has become so radical that its

ideology has far more in common with the communist manifesto than

with our own constitution?

The Tea Party stands for traditional, hard-working, common-sense
Americans, like the majority of Hoosiers, whose lives are governed by

liberty, not the "boot on the neck" of the Feds, to quote Obama's own

Energy Czar.

Here's my letter in today's (August 26th) Times; it is the response to the
letter-writer a few weeks ago who accused me of bigotry. The Times printed
it exactly as submitted.

Please share it with friends, family and colleagues, especially those who might
be concerned about voicing their objections to the current administration. Info
about Obama's activities while doing his "community organizing" in Chicago are
well-documented, but entirely swept under the carpet by the media (who are
now waiting to pounce on any rising GOP candidate by combing through every
detail of their past).

If you have spare time, google "Obama Saul Alinsky" and read about the
teachings of that jerk, who basically preached achieving "social justice" through
collapsing the government and economy, all the while lying about your intentions
by pretending to be a moderate. Obama actually taught Alinsky's methods
while at the U. of Chicago, and has practiced them ever since.

The barely-coherent letter from Michigan City accusing

me of bigotry (Aug 12) clearly reveals the left's tactics:

crude personal attacks instead of substance.

I would have gladly voted for Obama, except for one thing:

his radical ideology. He has always associated with leftists who

regard the U.S. as the main cause of injustice in the world and

seek to destroy America's superpower status by crippling our

economy and demonizing society's wealth creators. Obama

was only elected because he cunningly presented himself as

a moderate, relying on an adoring media to suppress any

information about his past.

I prefer to follow the teachings of Martin Luther King, who

urged that we not judge (or, in this case, vote for) a person based

on skin color, but rather on the content of their character. Thus,

any freedom-loving, traditional American must oppose Obama

and his policies.

Here it begins.  With YOU!

All over Lake and Porter County we will be going to the voting booths in November for the elections before the Presidential elections.  But don't downgrade the importance of voting for local and state officials.   So many of you have voted Democrat automatically for so long you may as well have it engraved on your butt, but look around at the Northern end of Lake County, Indiana, where the Democrats have ruled since the Depression and you see wreckage and ruin.   Eventually some of you will realize that voting the same way will give you the same negative results and decide to consider what issues are involved in the races and consider the character of the candidates.   Candidates who do not even live where they supposedly vote and serve?  You can find them!   Candidates who are getting rich at the same time their areas of responsibility are turning into ruins?   Commonplace.  

Barack Obama was voted in to local office under the Socialist New Party, then grafted into the Democrats and then fast-tracked for success by the power brokers behind the Chicago Machine and the Democrat money people.   So the person you are electing to a county office, the candidate for State Representative or Senate, the person you vote for who is going to hold a local office?   He or she may well wind up running for national office in a few years.   Everybody you vote for in every race has importance and if you don't know much about them, FIND OUT!   

Please don't be fooled by the divide and conquer tactics of the Left.  People of all colors can and do benefit from a thriving economy and we all suffer when the economy is going downhill.   It isn't about black and white and brown and yellow and red skin tones, it isn't about union or non-union, it isn't about class warfare, it is about what American was and can be again.  Our Founding Fathers gave us a Federal Republic and they hoped we could sustain it.   Right now the USA is in danger of being fundamentally changed and the opponents of freedom and free enterprise will use any and all tactics to divide us and confuse us.

Don't be confused.  The Democrats are about machine politics and class and race warfare.  They are about entitlements instead of opportunities and subsistence instead of success.  They want to take away hope and replace it with low expectations.  They want to take health care away from the doctors and rule it with the government, adding layers of bureaucracy and exponentially raising health care costs at YOUR expense.  Not just you, but your children and your children's children have a massive debt staring them in the face.  This is what the Left wants to do and has in fact begun to do.  Let's not let them do it!!!!
