A real quick post this morning, I've been writing on other sites for clients and really haven't had the chance to post much about the Presidential race at all.
First, when the media agrees the Republican Romney won the debate, it must have been a rout. I watched CNN and even the hard core liberals acknowledged that Romney was on message and beat the President.
Second, the President is no fool. He has almost $1 billion at his beck and call to try and change your opinion of his policies or Romney's. It's probably time for normal Americans to determine for themselves whom they want as President for the next four years. In my case although Romney isn't perfect, and for sure is a little too moderate, I choose him over four more years of this rough road we've been on.
Third, it's becoming increasingly hard to blame George Bush for the problems. Most of the problems right now have been created by the spending and lack of management discipline of this administration. They aren't showing any discipline at all, merely running for a job because they want to stay in power.
Now onto the next debate and of course I expect the President will do much better and many in the press will celebrate his return to popular form. Good for him, but last night we may just have seen how he really thinks and acts, the real guy. A guy that I'd love to hang out with, to argue with, to tell his theories are just plain wrong ... but a guy that is basically tired and who's ideas didn't work. He'll make a ton of money as a former President.
